How does the rental process work at Rent Baby Tech?
Renting baby gear from us is straightforward:
- Reserve: Select the products you need for your desired rental period. Payment is required upon delivery.
- Confirm: Within 48 hours, a Rent Baby Tech team member will contact you to confirm delivery or pickup details.
- Delivery/Pickup: We offer delivery services throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Alternatively, you can choose to pick up the items from our warehouse in North Hollywood.
- Enjoy: Use the rented equipment for the duration of your rental period. Rest easy knowing the gear is guaranteed over the entire rental period.
- Return: At the end of the rental term, we’ll arrange for pickup or you can return the items to our location.

Is the rented equipment clean and safe?

What is the minimum rental period?
We offer flexible rental periods to accommodate your needs. Whether you need equipment for a day, a week, or longer, we can tailor the rental duration to suit your requirements.
How much does delivery cost?
Our delivery formula is simple: the first 30 miles are free for rental over $79. Every mile after the first 30 is $4/mile. This includes round-trip delivery for your gear, covering both pickup and delivery.
What happens if I damage the rented equipment?
You are responsible for the gear during the rental period. If an item is returned with damage beyond normal wear and tear, repair or replacement fees may apply. We recommend handling all equipment with care to avoid additional charges.
Can I extend my rental period?
Yes, extensions are possible based on equipment availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to request an extension, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Do you offer refunds for early returns?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to return the equipment earlier than expected, please contact us to discuss your situation. Refunds for early returns are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Is there a security deposit required?
Rent Baby Tech does not require any security deposits for equipment rental. A credit card or ACH account must be stored on file prior to delivery of your rental.
How do I know if a specific item is available for my desired dates?
Rent Baby Tech has a massive selection of gear and very rarely has equipment unavailable. Oftentime equivalent replacements are available in the event some specific brand or model is unavailable for your reservation. Your concierge will advise of any equipment changes prior to delivery.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
We understand that circumstances can change. Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours prior to your equipment delivery. Please reach out to your concierge in the event your plans change and you need to cancel or adjust your booking.
Do you offer any discounts for long-term rentals?
Yes, we offer discounts for extended rental periods. All prices for longer terms decrease the daily rate. If you don’t see a term that matches your needs please reach out to discuss your needs with our team.
